Welcome Reception
Friday evening is our time to get together and enjoy a special wine and cheese reception. Meet new friends and catch up with old friends.
Critique Sessions
One of the most valuable activities at the retreat is the critique sessions. Photographs you shot during the retreat or even photographs you bring to the retreat can be reviewed and critiqued by one of your hosts.
Learn to identify those elements that make stunning photographs and those that keep an image from being as effective as it could be.
Mandy’s studio is just off the hook. A beautiful location to practice studio photography and walking distance from wonderful urban settings for outdoor and location shooting.
You’ll have an opportunity to try your hand at new photography techniques just for the pure enjoyment.
Hands On Shooting
Classroom Time
Classroom sessions are geared to what you want to learn. We generally cover lighting, workflow, PhotoShop, LightRoom, and other topics. All education is tailored for a perfect balance for productive learning, and fun and friendship.
Our retreat doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Muskogee is home to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame so music and entertainment is in our blood. When the day is done at the studio, we head out to some of the local venues for some great music and a good time.
