GreatPhotography Workshops Turns 20

GreatPhotography Workshops is celebrating 20 years of hosting photography workshops in some of the most spectacular places on the planet. It all started in 2002 when Rob offered his very first workshop, taking a group up to Grand Teton National Park. Since that time, we’ve explored national parks around the country and even ventured out to Ireland, Italy, and the Greek Islands.

Tony and Rob had both been teaching photography before that, but Rob registered the name GreatPhotography and the 2002 workshop was the first that was produced directly by either of them. Tony and Rob decided to join forces in 2014, and their first workshop together was to the Greek Islands in 2015.

Over all these years we have met some of the nicest people on the planet and many have become close friends. We’re so glad to have had the opportunity to teach what we love but in all honesty, we’ve probably learned more from our students.

You can take a stroll with us down memory lane by visiting a small gallery of images from most of our past workshops. Were you with us on one of these workshops? In the comments, share with us what you thought was the most fun thing you did, your favorite subject to photograph, or your most memorable moment.

Best yet, we’re not out of gas. In the coming weeks, we’ll be posting new workshops so stay tuned.

Thank you to everyone who’s attended a workshop or supported us in any way. We do appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
