Texas Wildflowers in 2010?

No guarantees but early indications are that this is shaping up to be a good year. My brother-in-law lives in Seguine which is on the southern end of the Hill Country. For years his fields have been bereft of bluebonnets but when I talked with him last week he told me that the field is just covered with bluebonnet seedlings. What many people don't realize is that it's not as much the springtime weather that dictates wildflower displays as it is the rainfall in the Fall. And, as it turns out, the Hill Country got some very nice rain totals for the Fall months.
