Don’t put your camera away when the sun goes down! In class, learn special techniques for this magical time of day – then head out into the world to capture nighttime images using ambient light, artificial light, and even camera flash. 

This is a hands on class so bring your camera equipment, including a sturdy tripod.

We'll discuss...

• exposure at night
• white balance in low light
• metering for night time shots
• adding supplemental light
• include flash
• light painting - so much fun, it should be illegal

Who Should Attend  

This class is designed for the Digital SLR shooter who is already familiar with digital photography but wants to take his or her skills to the next level.

During the class we will touch briefly on the use of flash.  This class is a complement to the Shooting Flash class that is held the day before.  So, for the best understanding of shooting at night and with flash I'd suggest you take both classes.
